First contact

First inhabitants in the new Shrimp-Tank. One yellow shrimp (from RowanTank) and two blue shrmips (from LyonTank) made the long journey to the new tank with the hope of creating a new colony. Good luck shrimp!

New Tank

New Tank!

A new tank dropped in the living room. For now, the tank will be "low-tech" (maybe filterless). This new tank will act as a shrimp-farm. The tank is cylindrical in shape. The tank is 50cm. The tank has a diameter of ~25cm. Potential new-tank-name (ntn): ShrimpTank, ShrimpTown, ShrimpTube. Drop suggestions in comments.

Berried shrimp in RowanTank

A few weeks ago, a red cherry shrimp was moved from LyonTank to RowanTank with the hopes that the safer environment will allow her to breed. Today this proved succesful, the red shrimp is now carrying babies.

A new discovery in LyonTank

Some weeks ago, a female blue shrimp in LyonTank gave birth to some baby shrimp before tragically dying. Since then its been unclear how many baby-blue-shrimp (BBS) were brought to life. Today another count revealed a total of 8 BBS. We wish you a happy life in LyonTank. Staying on positive news: after many water changes, the nitrite levels in LyonTank started to drop.

Update on nitrite spike in LyonTank

Two fifty percent water changes were performed on LyonTank after yesterdays incident. Re-testing of the water showed the nitrite levels have yet to decrease. The reason for the spike has been narrowed down to overfeeding. Daily water changes will continue until the problem is resolved.

Adressing suspicion of Russian Involvement: A viewer has informed staff of possible covert russian involvment linked to the sudden spike in nitrite levels in LyonTank. Although unlikely, this possiblity will be taken extremely seriously.

A message to the Russians: "Tread carefully, this is your one and only warning."

Death in LyonTank

1x Amano shrimp found dead. Water test revealed excessive nitrite in water. Staff is planning a large water change to reduce casualties.
